Our history since 1961<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In 1961<\/strong>, Dinos Lymperopoulos starts the Costal Gallery at Patission & Polytechniou St. In 1982<\/strong>, Costal<\/strong> (Consta<\/strong>ntinos L<\/strong>ymperopoulos) is renamed Ikastikos Kiklos<\/strong>, and in collaboration with Mr Theophanis Siantis an art space is created to promote and establish silkscreen prints.<\/p>\n

Over time the collection of Ikastikos Kiklos expands into original works and sculptures. In order to showcase this new collection, a new building was created in 1995<\/strong> at 121 Harilaou Trikoupi St; in 2002<\/strong> the 1,700 sq. m., seven-floor premises was described by the Hellenic Institute of Architecture as one of the “30 buildings of particular architectural interest in the city of Athens”.<\/p>\n

In 2006<\/strong> a new facility in downtown Athens was inaugurated at 20 Karneadou St in Kolonaki.<\/p>\n

Since 2015<\/strong> and the death of Dinos Lymperopoulos, co-founder of Ikastikos Kiklos, his son Dimitris Lymperopoulos<\/strong>, initiated in Art from a young age, continues with his well-known ethos and integrity to build on the 35-year course of Ikastikos Kiklos<\/strong> at 6 Akadimias St, Kolonaki.<\/p>\n

In our gallery you will find all collector’s silkscreen prints by timeless artists, with authentic<\/strong> signatures.<\/p>\n

At the same time a new method of art reproduction, gicl\u00e9e print, is introduced to replace silkscreen. Gicl\u00e9e prints are made with pigment-based inks on Photorag Acid Free paper for an extended chromatic spectrum and an excellent tonal effect.<\/p>\n
